The court affirmed Willis's three murder convictions, death sentences, and remaining convictions and sentences, but vacated three aggravated-assault convictions and sentences because those offenses merged into the corresponding murders.

The court affirmed the murder and related convictions of Sean Nalls and Montrella Baskin. It held that any error in giving an unrestricted justification instruction did not constitute plain error and that the instruction did not improperly comment on the evidence.
