South CarolinaThe State, Respondent v. Michael Paul Saltz, Appellant

August 6, 2001346 S.C. 114

The court reversed Saltz’s murder conviction because the trial court improperly admitted a prosecution witness’s prior consistent statement and irrelevant, prejudicial evidence, and improperly excluded a defense witness’s prior consistent statement offered to rebut charges of recent fabrication and improper motive.
