Summary

The Court found clear and convincing evidence that Abdoveis repeatedly neglected immigration matters, failed to communicate with clients, and made misrepresentations, including fabricating an immigration filing receipt. It sustained specified misconduct findings on all three grievances, rejected several additional alleged violations, and increased the recommended sanction from a six-month suspension to a one-year suspension because of the volume, persistence, client harm, and deceptive nature of the misconduct.
