Summary

The court held that competent evidence supported the trial court’s challenged findings and that defendant was lawfully detained during execution of the search warrant. It further held that the officer had reasonable suspicion to frisk defendant and could seize the baggie under the plain-feel doctrine because its incriminating character was immediately apparent. The court reversed the Court of Appeals and reinstated specified convictions.
