Supreme Court of North Carolina

In re T.B.

March 18, 2022

Summary

The court affirmed the termination of both parents' parental rights. As to the mother, the court held that the prior neglect adjudication, continued domestic-violence concerns, incomplete treatment, lack of contact with the child, and inadequate housing supported a likelihood of future neglect. As to the father, the court independently reviewed counsel's no-merit issues and found competent evidence and proper legal grounds supporting termination.
