Summary
Petitioners who pleaded guilty alleged that counsel failed to advise them of the right to appeal. The Court of Appeals held that in guilty plea cases a mere allegation of such failure is insufficient; the defendant must also demonstrate a genuine appealable issue that he would have raised had he been advised. Accordingly, the Court affirmed the lower courts' denial of the writs of error coram nobis.
