Summary

The Nebraska Supreme Court held that the plaintiffs presented sufficient evidence to submit their medical malpractice claim to the jury under both traditional negligence and res ipsa loquitur theories. The court also held that the trial court improperly excluded portions of the plaintiffs' expert's testimony for lack of foundation, while upholding the exclusion of a physical therapist's permanent-impairment opinion and the denial of a generalized request for videoconference testimony.
