Summary

The Nebraska Supreme Court affirmed a dissolution decree awarding the mother sole legal and physical custody and making only the requested special immigrant juvenile finding concerning the child's best interests. It held that the evidence did not require findings of neglect or nonviable reunification and that exclusion of an untranslated exhibit was nonprejudicial because substantially similar evidence was admitted through testimony and other exhibits. Justice Stacy, concurring, would have vacated the parenting-plan portion of the decree because it delegated parenting-time decisions to the mother.
