Summary

The court held that Minnesota's indecent-exposure statute establishes a general-intent offense and does not require proof that the defendant specifically intended to be lewd. Because voluntary intoxication is available only for specific-intent crimes, the district court properly refused to give that instruction, and the court also rejected Jama's related plain-error argument. The court affirmed the court of appeals.
