Summary

The Court held that a prevailing farm or farm operation that requests relief under MCL 286.473b is entitled to recover reasonably incurred costs and expenses and reasonable and actual attorney fees. The trial court lacks discretion to deny the award but may determine the amount reasonably incurred. The Court reversed the Court of Appeals and remanded for calculation of the award.
