Saunders v. Gilman

Summary

The Supreme Court of Maryland held that an interlocutory order declaring a party the owner of disputed real property by adverse possession is immediately appealable because it concerns possession of property. The Court also held that an order requiring preparation and recording of a deed conveying the property is immediately appealable as an order for the conveyance of real property. It therefore reversed the dismissal of the appeal and remanded for consideration of the merits.
