It further held that defense counsel's express acquiescence to admission of the interrogation videos invited the alleged error and barred plain-error review, while the gang evidence, even if erroneously admitted, did not independently warrant relief. The court therefore upheld reversal of the gang-member firearm conviction but reinstated the remaining convictions by reversing the appellate court's order granting a new trial.
