Summary

The court held that Logan was subjected to custodial interrogation during the recorded reenactment and should have received Miranda warnings. Because the Miranda claim was forfeited, however, the court reviewed it for plain error and affirmed the conviction, finding that the trial evidence was not closely balanced and that the Miranda error was not structural. The court also rejected Logan's ineffective-assistance claims because she could not establish prejudice.
