Summary

The court affirmed Compton's malice-murder conviction because he failed to preserve his mistrial challenge for appellate review. Although counsel eventually objected and moved for a mistrial after testimony that Compton refused to speak after receiving Miranda warnings, counsel did not act when the testimony was given and allowed questioning to continue.
