Summary

The Court held that the evidence was constitutionally sufficient to support Jones's felony-murder and firearm-possession convictions and that the denial of his directed-verdict motion was proper. Jones's unpreserved challenges to the admission of his interview and the jury recharge did not establish plain error, and his general-grounds challenge was not reviewable on appeal. The Court nevertheless vacated the aggravated-assault conviction because it merged into the felony-murder conviction.
