Summary

The Court affirmed Boles’s convictions, holding that the evidence was constitutionally sufficient to support each conviction. It also held that Miranda did not require suppression of Boles’s statement to the DFCS investigator who acted independently of law enforcement, and that any error in admitting his statement to the other investigator was harmless beyond a reasonable doubt because it was cumulative of properly admitted evidence.
