Goodman v. State

Summary

The court affirmed Goodman's convictions, holding that the evidence was sufficient to establish his guilt as a party to the shooting and that he did not unambiguously invoke his right to remain silent during his first interrogation. The court nevertheless vacated the sentence imposed for tampering with evidence to obstruct his own prosecution because that offense could be punished only as a misdemeanor. The case was remanded for resentencing on that count.
