Summary

The court affirmed Brown’s convictions for malice murder and related offenses. It held that the evidence was sufficient because the State presented direct evidence of guilt through Brown’s alleged confessions, in addition to corroborating circumstantial evidence; the trial court did not abuse its discretion by allowing leading questions to a witness who was uncooperative and recanting; and allowing the Gray sisters to testify was not plain error because the record supported their personal knowledge of the shooting.
