Foster v. State

Summary

The court affirmed Foster’s convictions for malice murder, felony murder, and related crimes. It held that independent circumstantial evidence sufficiently corroborated the accomplice’s account and that the evidence was constitutionally sufficient for the jury to find Foster guilty beyond a reasonable doubt. The court did not decide whether hearsay statements recounting an accomplice’s statements must themselves be corroborated under the accomplice-corroboration statute.
