Summary

The Supreme Court of Georgia vacated in part the June 2015 final judgment that awarded sole custody to the husband and supervised visitation to the wife because the decree failed to incorporate a permanent parenting plan, and also vacated the attorney‑fee award for lack of required findings. The court affirmed the visitation schedule as a permissible exercise of trial‑court discretion and held that the use of evidence from temporary hearings was proper. The case was remanded for compliance with OCGA § 19‑9‑1 and for factual findings supporting the fee award.
