Summary
The Supreme Court of Florida adopted, on its own motion, a new rule governing interim suspensions of lawyers charged with felonies reflecting adversely on their fitness to practice law. The Court also amended and renumbered related disciplinary rules, established procedures for notice, response, dissolution, and expunction of interim suspensions, and made the amendments effective December 5, 2025. The amendments were opened for public comment for 75 days.
