Summary
The court adopted, with minor modifications, fast-track amendments to Florida judicial-administration and juvenile-procedure rules and amended an appellate-procedure form to implement legislation requiring parental consent in addition to notice for a minor's pregnancy termination. The amendments expand confidentiality protections, revise waiver petitions and forms, update evidentiary burdens and terminology, and conform the appellate form to the statutory changes. The amendments took effect immediately, subject to a later period for public comments.
