Summary
The Supreme Court of Florida approved amendments to Florida Family Law Rules of Procedure Form 12.996(a) and deleted Form 12.996(d) to eliminate confusion between federal and Florida income deduction forms and notices. The amended Form 12.996(a) applies in both Title IV-D and non-Title IV-D cases, incorporates instructions for attaching and completing the federal income-withholding form, and expands the support categories that may be deducted. The amendments became effective immediately upon release of the opinion.
