September 19, 2019

Summary

The Florida Supreme Court adopted amendments to Rule Regulating the Florida Bar 20-3.1 as proposed by The Florida Bar. The amendments allow any lawyer licensed to practice law in a United States jurisdiction other than Florida to qualify as a registered paralegal without requiring membership in another state bar association, and make related terminology corrections. The amendments became effective immediately upon release of the opinion.
