Summary
The Supreme Court of Florida amended Florida Rule of Appellate Procedure 9.030(b)(1) to reflect statutory changes giving district courts of appeal jurisdiction over certain appeals from county courts involving more than $15,000. The amendment permits authorized appeals of nonfinal orders in those county court cases to be heard by the district courts of appeal. The amendment takes effect January 1, 2020, and the Court allowed post-adoption comments.
