Supreme Court of Florida

The Florida Bar, Complainant v. Kelley Andrea Bosecker, Respondent.

September 27, 2018259 So. 3d 689

Summary

The Court approved the referee’s findings that Bosecker practiced law and contacted clients, opposing counsel, and courts while suspended, failed to provide timely suspension notices, and misrepresented compliance to the Court. It disapproved only the finding that Bosecker personally violated the employment-notice provision because the hiring entity was responsible for that notice, but upheld the remaining violations and imposed disbarment. The Court also upheld the referee’s evidentiary rulings and rejected Bosecker’s equal-protection argument. No separate opinions were filed.
