Summary
The Supreme Court of Florida adopted amendments to the rules governing judicial administration, civil procedure, criminal procedure, and appellate procedure. The amendments eliminate additional response time for e-mail service, revise computation of time to begin on the next nonweekend, nonholiday day, modify summary-judgment evidence deadlines, and enlarge numerous appellate deadlines. The amendments became effective January 1, 2019, at 12:02 a.m.
