Summary

The Supreme Court of Florida adopted the Florida Probate Rules Committee's proposed amendments to the probate rules, modifying rules 5.550, 5.560, and 5.696, and ordered the amendments effective Jan. 1, 2017. Justice Canady, in a partial concurrence and dissent, agreed with most changes but opposed the new requirements in rule 5.696.
