Summary
The court adopted all but one of the proposed amendments to the Florida Rules of Traffic Court. It declined to amend the introductory paragraph of rule 6.630 because the constitutional reference it contained did not appear to be a scrivener's error. The adopted amendments expanded permissible recording technology, revised traffic hearing officer training requirements, and added civil-traffic-infraction education to annual continuing legal education.
