Summary

The Supreme Court of Florida adopted numerous amendments to the Florida Rules of Criminal Procedure and Florida Rules of Appellate Procedure to promote greater finality, uniformity, and efficiency in postconviction proceedings. The Court retained the post-sentencing plea-withdrawal procedure, adopted a new rule governing jail-credit claims, revised procedures for postconviction motions and capital collateral proceedings, and made conforming appellate amendments.
