Supreme Court of Florida
In Re Standard Jury Instructions in Criminal Cases—instruction 14.2
August 29, 20132013 Fla. LEXIS 1859
Summary
The Supreme Court of Florida, acting on its own motion, authorized an amended instruction on dealing in stolen property for immediate interim publication and use. The amendment incorporates the requirement that when theft and dealing in stolen property are both submitted in connection with one scheme or course of conduct, the jury may convict on only one offense. The Court expressly reserved judgment on the instruction’s legal correctness and invited comments and proposed changes.
