Supreme Court of Delaware
Watson v. State
May 6, 2025
Summary
The Court affirmed Watson’s convictions for possession of a firearm and ammunition by a person prohibited after finding sufficient evidence that she constructively possessed the Kimber firearm. The Court rejected her challenges to a police detective’s credibility, the State’s disclosure of body-camera footage, and trial counsel’s effectiveness. Applying the no-merit appeal procedure, the Court concluded that the appeal presented no arguably appealable issue and granted counsel’s motion to withdraw as moot.
