Summary

The Court affirmed Kegler’s convictions and sentences in all substantive respects, concluding that his speedy-trial, evidentiary, prosecutorial-misconduct, indictment-amendment, sufficiency, and sentencing challenges lacked merit or were unpreserved. It remanded only for correction of a clerical inconsistency between the oral sentence and the written sentencing order. The Court also declined to consider ineffective-assistance claims raised for the first time on direct appeal.
