Supreme Court of Delaware

Haddock v. State

July 9, 2024

Summary

The Court affirmed Haddock’s sentences for second-degree assault and aggravated menacing after independently reviewing the record under Supreme Court Rule 26(c). It held that the sentences were within the statutory limits and that the record disclosed no impermissible factual predicate, judicial vindictiveness or bias, or closed-mindedness. The Court also found counsel’s review conscientious and the appeal wholly without merit.
