Summary

The Court dismissed Franklin’s petition for a writ of mandamus. It held that it lacked jurisdiction to issue mandamus against the Department of Correction and that mandamus could not compel the Superior Court to impose a particular sentence where Franklin had, or had pursued, an adequate appellate remedy.
