Jordan v. State

Summary

The Court affirmed Jordan's convictions, holding that the Superior Court properly excluded his co-defendant's guilty plea because it did not establish exclusive possession of the firearm and therefore was not probative of Jordan's possession. The Court also held that the trial court properly limited evidence and questioning concerning the timing and circumstances of the grand-jury indictment because that timing was irrelevant to guilt and any challenge to the indictment process was waived. The Court further concluded that exclusion of the plea agreement would have been harmless because substantially similar evidence was already before the jury.
