Supreme Court of Delaware

Hudson v. State

January 22, 2020

Summary

The Court affirmed the denial of Hudson’s first motion for postconviction relief. It held that Hudson failed to establish ineffective assistance, prejudice, plain error, or any independent prejudice from delayed preparation of trial transcripts. The Court also concluded that the search warrant was sufficiently supported and particularized, the indictment and discovery provided adequate notice, and the remaining claims either lacked merit or were procedurally barred.
