Summary

The Supreme Court of Delaware affirmed Jeffrey Clark’s convictions for attempted assault in the second degree and conspiracy in the second degree. Applying de novo review, the Court held that the evidence permitted a rational jury to find that Clark intended to cause serious physical injury, based on his armed, premeditated search for the person he believed had threatened him and the shooting that followed.
