Supreme Court of Delaware

Renn v. State

June 20, 2019

Summary

The Court affirmed the denial of Renn’s repetitive motion to modify his sentence. Because the motion was filed well beyond the ninety-day period and Renn did not establish extraordinary circumstances, the Superior Court acted within its discretion in denying it. The orders also made clear that Level IV home confinement was discretionary with the Department of Correction, not mandatory. No separate opinions were filed.
