Summary

The Supreme Court of Delaware affirmed the denial of Wright's first postconviction motion. It held that his ineffective-assistance claims failed because he showed neither deficient performance nor prejudice, and it separately concluded that his exculpatory-evidence claim was procedurally barred and substantively meritless. The court also addressed the latter claim itself because the Superior Court had not expressly done so.
