Summary

The Supreme Court of Delaware affirmed the denial of Coleman’s motion to correct his sentence as illegal. It held that Coleman’s eight-year minimum-mandatory sentence for possession of a firearm by a person prohibited was authorized under the habitual-offender statute because Coleman admitted his eligibility and the court sentenced him under that provision.
