Summary

The Supreme Court of Delaware affirmed the denial of Michael Hunt’s motion to modify his sentence for a juvenile offense. Although the Superior Court should have evaluated the motion under Rule 35A rather than Rule 35(b), Hunt was ineligible for relief because his sentence for the offense committed before his eighteenth birthday was only fifteen years, below the statutory threshold of more than twenty years. The Court therefore affirmed on an independent and alternative ground.
