Supreme Court of Delaware

Washington v. State

December 15, 2016

Summary

The Supreme Court affirmed the judgment convicting Washington of multiple drug, firearm, and conspiracy offenses. It held that Washington waived his challenge to the late laboratory report by failing to object below and, alternatively, that the delay did not prejudice him. The Court also held that the Superior Court properly admitted the DNA evidence because its probative value was not substantially outweighed by unfair prejudice. The opinion contains no separate writings.
