Fleetwood v. State

Summary

The Court affirmed Fleetwood’s convictions because the evidence did not support a rational finding that he entered the apartment without intending to commit theft, and because the prosecutor’s improper golden-rule argument did not constitute plain error in light of the overwhelming evidence of guilt. The Court reversed and remanded the sentencing judgment because the Superior Court imposed a sentence for an offense on which the jury had acquitted Fleetwood.
