Supreme Court of Delaware

Stallings v. State

June 30, 2015

Summary

The Court affirmed the Superior Court’s denial of Stallings’s motions to withdraw his guilty plea and his resulting convictions and sentences. Applying abuse-of-discretion review, the Court found that the plea was entered voluntarily and without mistake or apprehension of Stallings’s legal rights. After independently reviewing the record under Rule 26(c), the Court found no nonfrivolous appellate issue and granted the State’s motion to affirm.
