Supreme Court of Delaware
Garrison v. State
December 11, 2015
Summary
The Supreme Court of Delaware affirmed the denial of Garrison’s motion for postconviction relief. Because Garrison did not raise his newly asserted claim concerning problems at the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner in the Superior Court, the claim was reviewed only for plain error, which was not shown. His signed guilty-plea form also stated that the plea was voluntary and that he was satisfied with counsel, and he offered no clear and convincing evidence to overcome those representations.
