Summary

The Court affirmed enforcement of the parties’ signed settlement agreement arising from a mediation. It held that Alston’s unilateral rejection one day later did not make the agreement unenforceable because the agreement contained no rejection period, and his unsupported claims of fraud, duress, coercion, attorney misconduct, collusion, and bias did not justify invalidation.
