Summary
The court reversed the defendant's conviction for risk of injury to a child involving A because the state presented no evidence that A contacted the defendant's intimate parts as required by the charged statute, and directed entry of an acquittal on that count. It upheld the three sexual-assault convictions involving S, concluding that the evidence supported a finding that the defendant exercised general supervision over her as her biological father and household caregiver. The court also found that some prosecutorial remarks concerning D's domestic abuse were improper but harmless and therefore did not deny the defendant a fair trial.
