Summary
The court held that the state presented sufficient circumstantial evidence for the jury to find beyond a reasonable doubt that the firearm the defendant carried without a permit had a barrel shorter than twelve inches. The firearm was never recovered and its barrel was not measured, but evidence that it fit in a vehicle glove compartment and was carried inside a waistband, together with firearms testimony and the statutory definition of a pistol or revolver, supported the conviction. The judgment affirming the conviction was affirmed.
