Summary

The court held that employees of a municipal district formed by several towns are employees of the constituent towns for purposes of the Workers' Compensation Act's exclusivity provision. Because the plaintiff received workers' compensation benefits for her workplace injury, her negligence and nuisance claims against the towns were barred, and summary judgment was proper. The court also rejected the derivative loss-of-consortium appeal and affirmed the judgment in both consolidated appeals.
